The <strong>Agile Manifesto<\/strong><sup data-fn=\"48a2b801-48b4-42b0-983e-29620750af4f\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#48a2b801-48b4-42b0-983e-29620750af4f\" id=\"48a2b801-48b4-42b0-983e-29620750af4f-link\">1<\/a><\/sup> itself being no more than two screens of text, the <strong>Scrum Guide<\/strong><sup data-fn=\"57e6e210-a585-4b3c-8995-9ef77332a435\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#57e6e210-a585-4b3c-8995-9ef77332a435\" id=\"57e6e210-a585-4b3c-8995-9ef77332a435-link\">2<\/a><\/sup> very purposefully leaving out any kind of implementation details and <a href=\"https:\/\/theagilistcookbook.com\/?page_id=37\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"37\">Kanban<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/theagilistcookbook.com\/?page_id=38\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"38\">Lean<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/theagilistcookbook.com\/?page_id=39\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"39\">TPS<\/a> never having arrived at any kind of &#8220;definite&#8221; stage &#8211; one thing I find myself doing a lot as an Agile Coach is starting answers with &#8220;<em>It depends&#8230;<\/em>&#8221; [on your situation], then being asked to provide the &#8220;<em>how are other people doing this?<\/em>&#8220;-[see above: non-existent]-Industry standard, before relenting and responding on my own with &#8220;<em>before we schedule a training, please have a preread here<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While nobody serious about that first line<sup data-fn=\"0e91765c-0244-4b5b-8e86-9421660495e5\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#0e91765c-0244-4b5b-8e86-9421660495e5\" id=\"0e91765c-0244-4b5b-8e86-9421660495e5-link\">3<\/a><\/sup> in the Agile Manifesto will sell you any kind &#8220;best practice&#8221;, there certainly are plenty of well-tread stepping stones from <strong>shu <\/strong>to <strong>ha <\/strong>to <strong>ri<sup data-fn=\"1fb4aafe-3c5c-4af1-be7a-7d72b02f2329\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#1fb4aafe-3c5c-4af1-be7a-7d72b02f2329\" id=\"1fb4aafe-3c5c-4af1-be7a-7d72b02f2329-link\">4<\/a><\/sup><\/strong>. Or recipes, if you so like. You&#8217;ll not always have the right ingredients ready, you&#8217;ll not always like the taste, but you&#8217;ll also not need to re-invent the proverbial <a href=\"https:\/\/theagilistcookbook.com\/?page_id=40\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"40\">wheel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This site exists as my own personal little cookbook of such Agile recipes, to provide the &#8220;here&#8221; to link to from that first paragraph. Since I launched the first version of this site in 2018, the majority of the links I collected here has gone stale, was hidden behind paywalls or otherwise become unusable; so for my re-launch this time (2024) I have set myself the goal of having each entry stand on it&#8217;s own, with links only for reference.
